What happens if I fail my exam?

We recognize that there can be various factors that might affect exam results. To support our learners in these situations, we provide 1 free retakes for each participant. This ensures that you have 2 opportunities to validate your skills and knowledge.


How do I prepare for the certification exam?

To prepare for your certification exam, consider going through the mock exams we’ve created for each certification program.

Preparation is also an integral part of the course curriculum. If you’re enrolled in an facilitator-led training, your facilitator will guide you on how to prepare for the exam. If you choose a self-study course, taking the mock exam can familiarize you  with the process and typical questions.


How do I share my certification?

After passing your exam, you will receive a digital badge issued through Accredible. This badge will be visible in the “Credential” section on DASA Hub. You will also receive an email notification from Accredible. Through your Accredible profile, you can easily share your badge on LinkedIn or add it to other platforms of your preference.


How much does the training cost?

The cost of training varies depending on the format and provider you choose. For instructor-led courses, you can find the prices in our course calendar. For self-study options, visit DASA Hub.

The cost of the course always includes the exam.


What languages are the certification programs?

Currently, DASA DevOps Fundamentals is available in multiple languages: English, Dutch, Spanish, and French.

We are actively working on localizing all of our programs. Stay updated with us for news on the availability of other certifications in additional languages.


What are the prerequisites for DASA certification?

For most DASA certification programs, there are no prerequisites. However, having basic knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Lean, and ITSM principles is beneficial.

For two of our programs, DASA DevOps Professional – Specify & Verify and DASA DevOps Professional – Enable & Scale, obtaining the DASA DevOps Fundamentals certification is a prerequisite.

Our programs are categorized into three levels: foundational, professional, and leadership. Consider your current role and capabilities when choosing the certification.


What is the format of DASA certification exams?

DASA certification exams are virtually proctored, and conducted in a closed-book format. The duration, number of questions, and passing grade vary depending on the certification program. Detailed exam information for each certification can be found on their pages.

For the DASA DevOps Leader certification program, there isn’t a traditional exam. Instead, candidates are required to develop a transformation plan based on the methodologies and frameworks covered in the course and present it to two independent assessors.


Is there a validity period for DASA certifications?

No, DASA certifications do not have an expiration date. Once you are certified, your qualifications are permanently validated through your digital certificate and badge.


What is the return policy for DASA courses?

If you have purchased courses through our partners, kindly contact the respective partner to inquire about their specific return policies. 

If you purchase a self-study course directly from DASA, you have a 30-day return window, if you haven’t completed all sections of the course. This policy ensures a risk-free purchase in case the course does not meet your expectations.

If you purchase instructor-led training, offered by DASA, you can cancel your course for free if it starts in more than 30 days or if it’s starting within 30 days but isn’t confirmed to be delivered yet. If you cancel at any other time, you might have to pay a fee, which could be as much as the full course cost, depending on the cancellation terms of the course.
